Schefter fielded questions on Russini-Vrabel photos
ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter faced pointed questions on a Philadelphia radio station about viral poolside photos of Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel. Hosts on 97.5 The Fanatic pressed the insider for 10 minutes during a Wednesday appearance. Schefter said he saw the images like everyone else and expressed sympathy for those involved.
The photos, showing Russini—a reporter formerly with ESPN and now at The Athletic—and Vrabel, former Tennessee Titans head coach, surfaced earlier this week at what one description called a romantic resort. Both denied any improper conduct after the images went viral. The matter entered its third day with limited public comment from media figures.
Schefter, who knows both individuals, stated: "I didn't report it. I saw it like everybody else did. And uh, I guess my thought would be, I don't know what's right. I don't know what's wrong. Uh, I feel bad for the families involved. It's unfortunate, you know? Um, I know both individuals. Um, and yeah, I guess my first thought would be they went to the families of the people involved and, you know, I just wish everybody the best and hope everything works out with everybody."
No further details emerged from major outlets following the interview. Russini and Vrabel have not issued additional statements.
