Dennis Rodman, a five-time NBA champion with the Detroit Pistons (1989, 1990) and Chicago Bulls (1996-1998), was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011.[1]
WWE announced that Rodman will headline the Hall of Fame Class of 2025, with the ceremony set for WrestleMania 41 week in Las Vegas.[2] WrestleMania 41 is scheduled for April 19 and 20 at Allegiant Stadium.[3]
Rodman will be inducted alongside WWE executive Stephanie McMahon, wrestler AJ Styles and tag team Demolition.[2]
The former power forward ventured into professional wrestling in the late 1990s with World Championship Wrestling, teaming with Hulk Hogan in a tag-team match against Diamond Dallas Page and Utah Jazz center Karl Malone at Bash at the Beach on July 12, 1998, at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.[4]
Rodman's last wrestling ring appearance was in September 2023 for All Elite Wrestling at Battle of the Belts IX.[5] He has never competed in a WWE ring.
Past WWE Hall of Fame classes have included sports figures such as baseball player Pete Rose (2004), actor Mr. T (2005) and NFL player William "The Refrigerator" Perry (2006).[6]
