Saints chases second NXT title at Stand & Deliver

Ricky Saints challenges for the NXT Championship in a fatal four-way match at Stand & Deliver on Saturday. He faces champion Joe Hendry, Tony D'Angelo and Ethan Page in St. Louis, Missouri, with the event starting at 7 p.m. ET on YouTube. Saints debuted on NXT in February 2025 by emerging from the crowd to declare the brand needed the "superstar of the future."

Saints captured the NXT North American Championship nearly three months after his arrival and defended it against Page at his debut Stand & Deliver, NXT's marquee annual event. The two wrestlers have a history of alliances and rivalries predating their WWE tenures. Their partnership frayed in recent months, prompting Saints to prioritize his title pursuit.

Saints held the North American title during his first year on the brand. He seeks to join a select group of two-time NXT champions that includes Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Tommaso Ciampa, Karrion Kross, Finn Bálor, Shinsuke Nakamura and Samoa Joe.

"I am focused on becoming a two-time NXT champion, that’s for sure," Saints said. "That’s a small list of people that have done that and I wanna put my name on that list. I’ve done a lot in a year. I wanna keep that going. I wanna add another thing to that list. I wanna add, like, ‘Yeah, Ricky was here for a year, and he was a two-time NXT champion. He was a former North American champion. Like, he did it. He opened Stand & Deliver on his first Stand & Deliver, and now he’s going to close Stand & Deliver.’ You can’t get any better than that." On Page, Saints added: "He’s not a bad guy, but the plan hasn’t been going to what we have agreed to. So, I need to look out for myself to make sure I get the NXT Championship back again. So, if he can’t fall in line, then it is what it’s gonna have to be."
