WWE will tape Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on June 29. The events mark the company's first televised shows at the venue in nearly 20 years. WWE made the announcement on Thursday.

The tapings represent a doubleheader at the arena. Visit Atlantic City president and CEO Gary Musich described the return as "another exciting chapter in our city’s ongoing evolution as a premier entertainment destination." Jim McDonald, general manager of Boardwalk Hall and a member of Oak View Group, noted the venue's "rich history with WWE."

Boardwalk Hall previously hosted WrestleMania IV in 1988 and WrestleMania V in 1989. The last televised WWE event there was a SmackDown in 2008.

Lineup details for the June 29 tapings remain undisclosed.
